Enemies would drop money and stuff. Simply walking over it, or having a henchman do it, would autmatically pick up and convert the stuff into money. No waiting, just cash. Of couse, this was more of an action-rpg, or platform-rpg. But there was very little to collect that meant anything. Everything was just more money. This has nothing to do with realism, it's just that I love the exploration aspects. Ugh, the surprise of finding something nifty in a chest or barrel is half the fun of playing RPGs for me. This will turn all of the useless small potions and cloth tunics dropped by defeated monsters directly into gold. A similar technique needs to be implemented in all RPGs immediately.
