It’s a little better ice-cold, and with some nutmeg. My biggest problem with it, I think, is that it’s too sweet by half.

I grew up with advocaat being a topping for ice cream — the choice was between advocaat and chocolate syrup (or maple syrup or various other syrups).

I’ve never had egg liqeur but I’ve had a tasty eggyolk soda at a couple of pho restaurants. Mmm…

I tried egg liquor long time before and was never able to find it here, sometimes doubting my old memories that such a drink even existed. now I know what it’s called. thanks
