I had a green tea ice cream last night. On our way to see a show, my girlfriend and I pulled up outside of Scoops (http://www.yelp.com/biz/scoops-los-angeles), which is known for its unusual flavors. Having to double park, I told her to get me "anything made with booze." She came out with Irish Cream Green Tea, which on the face of it didn't sound very promising but turned out to be really, really good. (For herself she got Banana Cookies & Cream, for those of you keeping score at home.) I don't have an ice cream maker, but I would definitely encourage you to keep experimenting with green tea-based flavors. Sounds fabulous.
