Suffice to say it just doesn't work for me, but that's probably my problem. I sort of like the explicit modal-ness of Lightroom and the fact that the UI stays in the state that I put it in. Aperture does seem to have stronger catalog/database features than LR though. LR is stronger for image adjustments and things like Photoshop integration. iPhoto is OK but lacks the fancier image controls that both Lightroom and Aperture have. I use it to store selects and albums to sync to my iPhone though. I could never come to peace with Aperture’s user interface.
