The main reason I got rid of it was the amazing noise it made when trying to play games, especially compared to the quiet and tranquility of the PS3 and Wii. It got to the point where I ended up hating it.... I don't intend on replacing it and am happy to live with the Wii/PS3 combo (my launch 60gb PS3 is still going strong... fingers crossed).....
