The first bike, with a magnesium frame, was incredibly cheap, and lasted less than six months: the bottom bracket fell off (in the middle of traffic, to boot, and the bike is no longer available): http://www.flickr.com/photos/mliu92/612468821/ The second (current) bike has a decent frame equipped with the most wretched components known to man, Sunrace. I can't decide whether to upgrade the components or forget it and get something with an internally geared hub instead. I think the lights I got for paranoid night commuting are actually worth more than the bike now.
