PC world (http://news.yahoo.com/s/pcworld/20060406/tc_pcworld/125325) successfully ran Doom 3 and Far Cry without much complaint. Someone is bound to try Oblivion soon.

I've worked a lot in scientific computing, and the experience of some of my coworkers is while the Macs are usually slower running the actual computation than the PCs they are much faster at displaying pretty pictures of the results. I'm sure there is a fair bit of computation involved in creating those flax seed bushes that regenerate my mana so nicely but maybe the differences will ballance out and it will work fine.
