Expaning on that: Some auto racing games are getting remarkably good at reproducing the physics of racing... and in many cases getting less fun in the process. Without a similar increase in the fidelity of the controls it's hard to appreciate the more faithful simulation. It's worth noting that none of the hype surrounding new consoles has included any kind of improvements in their controllers.
