I thought it was apple doing the thing they always moaned and whined about microsoft doing. That iTunes license is the main reason I never considered an iPod. I've pretty much stuck with the Rio. My fiancee has an iPod. I have better battery life but hers never skips. Even jogging. I have come to the conclusion that it is a higher quality piece of hardware.
