Maybe I just am a sucker for companions in general after missing conversations at all in mmorpgs. It's been a while, about 2 years I guess, so maybe I'm just overly nostalgic, haha. Why would I let some random dwarf I met in a bar join me? Wouldn't most normal people tell him to get stuffed? And then all the companions who join you against your will start fighting. It's like being forced to watch one of those American dysfunctional family sit-coms. It makes me want to hit them with a battle axe, which of course I can't do even if I am the type of psychopath who would. This may have been fixed in a patch or expansion, but I've sold the game already and will now never know. My big problem with the game was the companion NPCs, who you can’t get rid of.
