I never understood its popularity. I haven't seen Mad Men. The Dark Knight was a fun action movie for me, with a few "twists" that were nonsensical. I hated when the batmobile turned into a motorcycle. And I thought that the Joker had a preposterous number of backup plans and elaborate traps for a crazy chaotic guy. I thought that the whole "art" aspect of the film was lame hype conjured up by mourning fans of Heath Ledger -- a decent actor who primarily played the pretty boy in semi-romantic roles. To me, it was a show about a bunch of neurotic pissants who did nothing but create their own problems. Because of this, I couldn't feel sympathy of find it funny when their irrational antics made their self-created problems even worse.
