Why don't you try to play in an easier mode? I always play hard mode but when I started Fallout 3 I was getting my ass handed to me big time. I just switched to normal and it was a game that I enjoyed immensely. I must admit though that may games have that spot that is just the developers wanting to make sure we are "worthy" of their game... In God of War III is that damned fight with the satyrs and the cerberus that took me 2 hours to beat in hard mode... Frustrating, yes... But at the end it was just a matter of thinking outside the box... as the guy who wrote the walk-through did and I didn't.
