…it is because I appear to have lost my precious Nintendo DS, along with the game that was in it at the time.

Update: The missing lamb has been located. The crisis has ended. Shop as usual.
I thought I had done that recently. Fortunately I had left it in a rental car with all my games. When I returned to the rental car agency to retrieve it they had drained the battery and switched from New Super Mario Brothers to Brain Age.
