Descending Further Into the Item World

I visited The Exchange last night, and ended up walking out with two other Nippon Ichi games, La Pucelle Tactics and Rhapsody, A Musical Adventure.
I am so very doomed.
You’re only doomed once you find out that Disgaea is far and away their best title.
Where does Disgaea 2 fall along this scale?
LOL…. and this is why I try to avoid any games newer than say…. 2006

If I can make a suggestion: Try “Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome”. It’s another Nippon Icchi game that doesn’t suck.
You start the game as the most powerful, badass freakin’ overlord in the entire cosmos.. You’re able to flick your enemies away with the tip of your fingernail. And then you get turned into a *book*. It’s within the first few minutes of the game, so I don’t think I’m ruining anything.
Oh, and you’ll meet an effeminate demon named Micky who’s gay for you.
