I will allow myself a brief comment on the little local blogging drama. I will keep it short and sweet, and anyone who doesn’t already know what I am talking about can safely ignore this.
My comment is “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
You are such a tease.
I casually followed his blog, and occasionally exchanged an email or two with him. Contrasting his emails with his posts, it was clear to see the degree to which he was deliberately trolling on his blog. I found it puzzling that he then shut down the blog because of negative feedback.

I find it astounding that anyone would be surprised or deterred by the fact that there are stupid people who post stupid things in the intertubes. I mean, wasn’t he around for USENET?
“Free and unfettered” discourse inevitably means “stupid crap”. Just look at this web site. I can’t stand that jerk peterb for much longer.
Admit it. You only love me for my Gamefly subscription.
The Obama-bashing I won’t miss, but I’ll applaud anyone who dares to deflate the cult of Randy Pausch.
