Simple pleasures

On April 27, 2004, in Food and Drink, by peterb

Two eggs
1 – 2 teaspoons soy sauce
generous squirt of sriracha chili sauce (a.k.a. “rooster sauce”)
dash sesame oil
scramble in skillet with a little canola oil

Enjoy with tea.

My simple pleasures (aka breakfast) involve a teaspoon of lard in a skillet, two eggs that get fried in said lard, and two slices of homemade bread, toasted and buttered.

Yours seems less simple, but spicier.

I never considered soy sauce in scrambled eggs. Next egg-based breakfast will feature this recipe. I even have the hard-to-find-in-Japan rooster sauce. Thanks.
