Indeed, I’m amazed that Nintendo let this game onto the DS with the number of bugs it has. It’s a real shame, as I was looking forward to Worms on my DS
I’m not sure what my favorite feature is: how the way to select a menu item is to make you click it twice (but with no UI feedback to indicate that you need to do so), the thing where you can scroll the minimap with the stylus while aiming, except it doesn’t move the targeting reticle, or the how in the tutorial, if you don’t do whatever it is they are suggesting fast enough, they will interrupt you every 7.5 seconds with the same useless help tip, forcing you to click the stylus to dismiss the stupid dialogue.
My list of most annoying bugs would be:
- cluster bombs only ever do 15 damage
- shotgun only does one shot’s worth of damage to your worms, even if the CPU hits twice
- grenade bouncing is seriously broken
- crappy AI
- flickering backgrounds
I could go on and on…
